The chess scoresheet<\/a> is designed to be printed on an A4 sheet in landscape orientation. Each sheet contains two identical scoresheets that can be cut in half to create two A5 scoresheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each completed scoresheet provides space for 80 moves, with moves 1\u201340 on the front and moves 41\u201380, along with a notes section, on the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note:<\/strong> I have not been able to test Option 1, as I do not own a printer that supports automatic double-sided printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Option 1 \u2013 Printer with Automatic Double-Sided Printing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the PDF file and select Print<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select A4<\/strong> as the paper size and Landscape<\/strong> as the orientation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enable Double-sided printing<\/strong> (duplex printing).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select Flip on short edge<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Select Actual size (100%)<\/strong>, without scaling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Print both pages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Option 2 \u2013 Printer without Automatic Double-Sided Printing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    1. Open the PDF file and select Print<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select A4<\/strong> as the paper size, Landscape<\/strong> as the orientation, and Actual size (100%)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select Page 1 only<\/strong> and print it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Take the printed sheet and place it back into the printer’s paper tray so that Page 2 will be printed on the reverse side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Select Page 2 only<\/strong> and print it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Check that the front and back are correctly aligned and oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Important:<\/strong> The correct way to flip and reinsert the paper varies depending on the printer model. I recommend making a test print first. Mark one corner of a test sheet to help determine how your printer feeds and prints the paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Cutting the Sheets to A5 Size<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      Once both sides have been printed, cut the A4 sheet in half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You will now have two separate, double-sided A5 chess scoresheets<\/strong>, ready to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
